By Kiley Shuffett Manicure Monday is all about variety. It probably wouldn't even be a "thing" if Christie and I didn't share a mutual love of nail polish. Nail polish, as you may know, can be an expensive "hobby." I am definitely not a professional nail artist, nor do I produce YouTube Videos or have an independent nail blog...I can ONLY imagine the money professionals spend on polish and tools because I usually spend more than I would like on polish each month. So, since we've already covered my favorite "splurge" polishes (see that one here), let's talk about nail polishes that don't cost much more than that large coffee we gulp down each morning! Sinful Colors by Revlon ($1.99) "Color at a price you'll love" is RIGHT. Less than 2 dollars for a bottle of nail polish that is highly pigmented, applies smoothly, and stays on really well? SIGN ME UP. BUY ME THE T-SHIRT. I don't always love the selection of colors I see at the drugstore, but when I find one I like, it can pass as a pretty solid dupe for a lot of brand name polishes. Stock up on these!

By Kiley Shuffett If you aren't familiar with this trend, or have heard of it but are unsure what 'Bulletproof Coffee' is, here's the simplest explanation I can give you: You put butter and coconut oil in your coffee. Then you drink it. And it's good for you. Of course, there's more to it than that, which we'll get to....but if you want to do a little extra research: this is a very informative, but one-sided link. The whole reason I even wanted to try this trend was for the piqued energy levels it claims to give its consumers. If you don't know me on a really personal level, you may not know how much sleep I 'need.' It's actually embarrassing to admit once I see it in writing, but here is my usual coffee schedule:
By Kiley Shuffett I'm definitely a little bored with the Fall/Winter nail colors....I'm sick of being cold and I am ready for sundresses, wedge sandals, and bright colors on muh nailz. Here is a look at a few of my favorite Spring/Summer 2015 Nail Polish collections. If we can't have warm weather, let's just have some eye candy. 1. Zoya - "Delight" This collection has me in a straight up TIZZY. My Valentine actually got me three shades from this collection, but the only one I have worn is the lilac shimmer called 'Leslie.' It's just as beautiful in person as it is in the photo. I also received the yellow shade, 'Daisy,' and the robin's egg blue creme in the bottom middle, 'Lillian.' I have yet to try either of them, but I think I'll try 'Lillian' out tomorrow.
Here's a video of this collection being swatched: By Jesse Powell I have worked for Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics for almost three years now and I still cannot believe that I get to work for such a cool company. Lush is a company that is known for their ethics, as well as the intoxicating, enticing aromas wafting from every shop door. They carry their values into every aspect of their business, from the fair-trade ingredients used to make the lovely products, to the recycled packaging, to the way they treat their employees. These are just a few reasons why I work so passionately for them and also blindly throw my money at them monthly for their luxurious products. Some of you are cheering along with me, possibly clutching your computer screen right now and yelling with jubilation, or currently enjoying your favorite Lush product(s) because any mention of Lush is a trigger and you’ll read this article later, you need a bubble bath RIGHT NOW. Don’t worry, I’ll be here waiting. Enjoy your bath! The rest of you are wondering what the hell Lush is and how I’ve managed to say it so many times without also mentioning wine...
By Christie Gleason I was perusing the internet (namely Pinterest) for some V-Day nail inspiration and let me tell you, there are so many cute pink/red nail designs out there! The ladies are really bringing their nail game to the party. I've taken the liberty of choosing my favorites from the vast sea of Valentine's Day-inspired nail art, so take a look below! (Click the pictures for detailed tutorials.) Galaxy Hearts I decided to start with something a little different than the traditional red/white/pink. I LOVE the look of these galaxy nails and they're very easy to do. Plus, they incorporate hearts! See, Valentine's Day! I can't wait to use this tutorial.
By Kiley Shuffett I was SO PUMPED when I received the Sephora Favorites Lash Stash for Christmas! I've always wanted to try the boxed collection of "favorites" they put out each holiday season, and this one was my first! I am someone who loves makeup, but hates paying full-price for high-end brands, so this gift was pretty much my dream. The gift set includes 9 sample size mascaras, one full-size mascara, and one Sephora-brand waterproof eye makeup remover. I decided to do a full review of each mascara in order to decide which one (if any) would be worth purchasing over my staple Covergirl mascara. It may not be the most life-changing mascara, but golly gee the price sure is nice. First up: My go-to! Covergirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara $3.99-7.00 What it claims: The biggest brush ever from Covergirl, for a blast of lush, volumized lashes! Lash Blast's patented volume-boosting formula and patented brush technology are designed to max out each and every lash leaving you with the ultimate big lash look. Removes easily with soap and water. Hypoallergenic & suitable for contact lens wearers. My Opinion: Most or all of the reason I love this mascara is the brush. It doesn't play around, it isn't gimmicky; it's big, it's soft and it picks up a lot of product. It applies well to my lashes. I am always pleased with the amount of volume and length I get from this drugstore product.
This is two coats of Covergirl LashBlast on my curled lashes: By Kiley Shuffett Ugh. Valentine's Day. You either love it or you hate it. If the "ugh" didn't set you off, I don't have much love for the most "romantic" day of the year. But, i do have love for hearts and sparkles. So, I put them on my nails. Here are two (fairly) quick and simple Valentine's Day nail ideas that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face even if you S.O. screws the whole thing up or you spend the day ALONE IN MISERY. JK. Look no. 1: glitter + hearts (duh)This LOOKS really impressive, but PSYCH! It's not hard.
