By Valerie Frost God I think my feet are going to fall off. I've just gotten off work from my second double in a row and by this point my body is screaming at me to die or just go to bed. I've been on my feet for almost twelve hours straight I can feel every minute of it in my body; the majority of the pain is in my throbbing feet. Now I don’t know what your relationship with your feet is, but to me my feet are gorgeous little princesses whom I want to pamper and lavish with gifts. Those who know me are probably questioning the truthfulness of that statement because my feet are usually sporting calluses and in the summer my heels are so impressively cracked people think I have an illness. Despite my feet’s state of disrepair they are truly loved by their owner. I buy them the best shoes and even forego cuteness and pride when I must. I've been known to wear crocs and my work shoes are worn strictly by women over 80 whose husbands have died and they’re no longer looking for love.

By Kiley Shuffett I LOVE OUTER SPACE. I've never been there, but it's on my list. Until I can make it to The Cosmos, I'm going to wear the universe on my nails.
Here are two versions of the "galaxy nail" I tried this weekend. Both designs are different from one another, and took less than half an hour each! By Claire FitzSimmonds Some people love makeup. They love experimenting with make up; they love buying makeup; they love talking about makeup. I know nothing about makeup. I’d much rather spend my dollars at H&M or Mellow Mushroom.
My skin is (finally) pretty clear, so I don’t often wear much more than mascara. And sometimes I skip that. But for the mornings I wake up and my face for some reason resembles a tomato, this homemade foundation recipe comes in really handy. It’s super simple and only requires four ingredients, three of which you probably have in your kitchen right now. All you need is arrowroot powder, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon and nutmeg. I already had cocoa powder, cinnamon and nutmeg, but I had to Google arrowroot powder and then go to three different grocery stores. I’ll save you the trouble. Arrowroot is a starchy plant native to South America. Its powder is used as a base for puddings and sauces – and ta-da! foundation. Skip Trader Joe’s and Kroger and go straight to Whole Foods. They have Bob’s Mill brand for $9. By Christie Gleason One of the most popular beauty looks right now is the burgundy lip. I am OBSESSED with this look for many reasons:
1. I love lipstick in general, so a dramatic color is right up my alley. I think lip colors of all sorts (subtle or bold) really punch up an outfit and draw attention to your face. 2. Darker lipsticks create such a mysterious, sexy, dramatic look! I also think it’s really sophisticated and whenever I see a celebrity rocking this look, I want to be them. 3. I JUST LIKE THE DRAMA, OKAY?! By Kathryn Dickens The following ideas may not technically fall into the category of "life hacks”. They are not tricks or especially clever, but are more like helpful tips to lead you on the path to wellness. Honestly, “hacks” just sounds cooler than “tips”, let’s be real. 1. Buy a water bottle you love, one you want to carry around and actually drink water from. The average lady should be sipping 2-3 liters of water per day. It’s kind of like the ultimate health and beauty product. But for some reason, this has ALWAYS been a struggle for me. Recently, I bought a pretty glass water bottle and it has really helped me regularly consume more H2O. While I love some bright, outrageous, fun colors, there are many times when I love the clean, sophisticated look of a neutral manicure. I've gone through my vast nail polish collection and selected my favorites to share with you!
By Kiley Shuffett Manicure Monday is all about variety. It probably wouldn't even be a "thing" if Christie and I didn't share a mutual love of nail polish. Nail polish, as you may know, can be an expensive "hobby." I am definitely not a professional nail artist, nor do I produce YouTube Videos or have an independent nail blog...I can ONLY imagine the money professionals spend on polish and tools because I usually spend more than I would like on polish each month. So, since we've already covered my favorite "splurge" polishes (see that one here), let's talk about nail polishes that don't cost much more than that large coffee we gulp down each morning! Sinful Colors by Revlon ($1.99) "Color at a price you'll love" is RIGHT. Less than 2 dollars for a bottle of nail polish that is highly pigmented, applies smoothly, and stays on really well? SIGN ME UP. BUY ME THE T-SHIRT. I don't always love the selection of colors I see at the drugstore, but when I find one I like, it can pass as a pretty solid dupe for a lot of brand name polishes. Stock up on these!
By Kiley Shuffett If you aren't familiar with this trend, or have heard of it but are unsure what 'Bulletproof Coffee' is, here's the simplest explanation I can give you: You put butter and coconut oil in your coffee. Then you drink it. And it's good for you. Of course, there's more to it than that, which we'll get to....but if you want to do a little extra research: this is a very informative, but one-sided link. The whole reason I even wanted to try this trend was for the piqued energy levels it claims to give its consumers. If you don't know me on a really personal level, you may not know how much sleep I 'need.' It's actually embarrassing to admit once I see it in writing, but here is my usual coffee schedule:
By Kiley Shuffett I'm definitely a little bored with the Fall/Winter nail colors....I'm sick of being cold and I am ready for sundresses, wedge sandals, and bright colors on muh nailz. Here is a look at a few of my favorite Spring/Summer 2015 Nail Polish collections. If we can't have warm weather, let's just have some eye candy. 1. Zoya - "Delight" This collection has me in a straight up TIZZY. My Valentine actually got me three shades from this collection, but the only one I have worn is the lilac shimmer called 'Leslie.' It's just as beautiful in person as it is in the photo. I also received the yellow shade, 'Daisy,' and the robin's egg blue creme in the bottom middle, 'Lillian.' I have yet to try either of them, but I think I'll try 'Lillian' out tomorrow.
Here's a video of this collection being swatched: By Jesse Powell I have worked for Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics for almost three years now and I still cannot believe that I get to work for such a cool company. Lush is a company that is known for their ethics, as well as the intoxicating, enticing aromas wafting from every shop door. They carry their values into every aspect of their business, from the fair-trade ingredients used to make the lovely products, to the recycled packaging, to the way they treat their employees. These are just a few reasons why I work so passionately for them and also blindly throw my money at them monthly for their luxurious products. Some of you are cheering along with me, possibly clutching your computer screen right now and yelling with jubilation, or currently enjoying your favorite Lush product(s) because any mention of Lush is a trigger and you’ll read this article later, you need a bubble bath RIGHT NOW. Don’t worry, I’ll be here waiting. Enjoy your bath! The rest of you are wondering what the hell Lush is and how I’ve managed to say it so many times without also mentioning wine...
