girl-ish
By Christie Gleason Kiley and I are so excited to introduce a new fashion series today! There are so many fashionable women on TV, so Kiley and I decided to pick some of our favorites and create looks inspired by them- starting with Mindy Lahiri of The Mindy Project ! I have put together three different Mindy-inspired looks that will be posted over the next week, starting with today's, which was inspired by Mindy's love of mixing prints. Kiley and I shot these pictures in New York City, which seemed fitting, since it is where The Mindy Project takes place!

Featuring Kiley Shuffett Even though we've survived the most brutal cold we'll get this year, there's still a forecast for snow in NYC....on the first day of SPRING, no less.
I wore this outfit a few weeks ago, and I'm in love with the all-white look. Forget traditional "rules" about white after Labor Day....I'm taking this look into Spring, and hopefully bringing some bright sunshine and warmer temps with me. Featuring Amanda Marshall of Pardon Muah I've been loving my blanket scarf - I literally cannot get enough! I even plan to wear it this St. Patrick's Day. Paired with a green-faced watch and a kelly green clutch, it makes the perfect look for the holiday without screaming "I love green!" And I don't know about you, but considering the recent winter temps I want to make sure I'm cute but comfortable attending activities around town.
Featuring Kiley Shuffett It's not often that I get to spend a day in New York City with old and new friends. So, when I have the Saturday off and friends are in town, I"m going to spend the day walking the streets, eating donuts, and wearing bright pink lipstick. This is my casual cold weather look for the perfect day off:
Featuring Taylor Lamoureux How cute is Taylor?! We love how she mixes designer piece with inexpensive pieces, like these skinny jeans from Forever 21. Spring is not far off now, loves, and we're taking all the inspiration we can from Miss Taylor.
By Jessica Tincher of Rose Colored Glasses When I was a little girl, I idolized my Memaw, who was for all intents and purposes the epitome of class. She managed a country club, and was given an annual budget from her employer to buy clothes, which seemed so glamorous to me then (and now probably even more-so). She had personal stationery and all the right handbags, and was more or less what my elementary school self aspired to become. The thing about her that I deemed the classiest though, was the very distinctive way that she smelled. You see, Memaw very exclusively wears Chanel ⁰5 perfume.
